Thanks to Katie, I've joined Livejournal at last...that way, maybe I can join some of the fanfiction communities! Or maybe not--this is probably a huge time drain, and I'm actually trying to have a productive summer (not to mention the coming schoolyear...eep). But it's really nice to read friends' entries! As for me, I doubt that any of my own entries will be that interesting. In fact, my website will probably do better--it, at least, has /one/ "random thought" on it.
But I have discovered a goal on the internet: to spread the use of /this notation/ as conveying italic font in things like emails and these entries!!
If you don't know me, you'd make better use of your time to go read Pastwatch, or books by Jacqueline Carey, Guy Gavriel Kay, Juliet Marillier, Garth Nix, Neil Gaiman, Diana Wynne Jones, Tamora Pierce or even Piers Anthony or Enid Blyton! Or fine, if you don't like fantasy/sci-fi, read a biography of someone who was actually /important./
