a) I want UC money for the things /I/ do and
b) I hate parties with alcohol (personally because of the noise and the alcohol and general stupidity, and morally: I don't blame people who drink responsibly but there are too many who don't), I still sympathize with those who dislike this letter. But in practice it may be good for us, see reason "a" and the end of the letter.
