It had been a whole week since I'd sung in Morning Prayers, or something like it--Avery subbed for me once, and Anna twice or thrice. Very depressing. But I was actually able to sing well this morning, if not at top volume (and I didn't need top volume) or at the top of my range (similarly). Anna just told me that tomorrow's hymn is "I sing a song of the saints of God" or whatever it's called, you know, the really terrible one, though...
but anyway, it helps.

laughs for French speakers

this is really quite amusing. Improbable French tenses with examples (don't click this if you can't read French or at least Spanish, or in particular if you don't know the pain of French grammar). This came up because MA swears there's a "passé intérieur," though I can't find an explanation of it.
