So, I have a Mac, and no access to other computers, and don't actually know what programs I can get on my Mac. I could search download.com, but for one thing my internet is slow, and for another there are different kinds of viruses here in China. My problem is: I have a song I need to learn, in WMA form, and I need it in, for example, mp3 or mp4 form. Is there anyone who could convert it for me if I were to send it to him/her?

(this will be asked of HRSFA if nobody answers soon...)

Have you tried iTunes? iTunes is so kickass that it can turn even a MIDI into an .mp3, at least on my XP.

There is a windows Media Player for Macs Here. (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/mac/mp9/default.aspx)

I have a similar problem, actually - iTunes won't convert the .wma file to .mp3, and thus it won't play it. I have Windows Media Player for Macs, but I'd really like to put all my music into iTunes so it's in one place. If you find this out, would you let me know?

There's a setting you need to change on iTunes that is not standard before it will convert to mp3s. Under the Edit pulldown menu, click Preferences. Click the Advanced tab, then Importing. There's a pulldown menu that's labeled "Import Using:" near the top of the window. If that isn't set to MP3 Encoder, you'll get .aac files when you try to convert your .wmas.

Other than that, I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't convert the files for you.

Nah, don't worry about it. I'm computer-savvy and I still didn't figure it out for like a month. At least it works. ^_^
