stupid test

Arrrrgh!!
刚才考完了HSK，我想跳楼的心都有！！
I don't mean that. But arrgh!! I don't think I passed, but it's possible; and this time at least, time (and the resulting nervousness) was the main constraint; given a bit more of it, I could reasonably have expected to score in the 90's on every section, except possibly for listening comprehension.

GAAAH!

Maybe I'll have some practical evidence of my Chinese skill. I must tell myself this in order to justify going through (admittedly slightly lesser) torture /again./

Oh well, now off to a free dinner with Anson and his friend who put us up in the 清华大学hotel on the night of June 15...

What's the HSK? I seem to remember hearing about it once, but I don't really recall...

It's the 汉语水平考试，the Chinese equivalent of the TOEFL. So if I were to get 100 on it, I'd have to be a reasonably well-educated Chinese person who doesn't make mistakes. Oh, and doesn't talk for too long and lose track of the time of recording answers to questions on the oral part. Grr.
