Signal boost: Lyon-Martin clinic
Jan. 30th, 2011 04:09 amDel Martin and Phyllis Lyon (who were apparently the first same-sex couple to marry in California in 2008) founded an independent women's health clinic in San Francisco, especially for lesbians and trans people.
That clinic is about to close down unless it gets enough donations, which it might--hard to tell, but between the 26th and the 28th they got halfway there, and apparently they have until the end of the month, ish--so today perhaps, or perhaps a week later.
Please pass this on to anyone, especially in the SF bay area, who might be interested. I've checked it out and asked around, and this seems to be just about as urgent and significant as the Lyon-Martin website says.
